Who We Are
Providing A Voice for Those Who’ve Been Silenced
Let’s Speak Out was born out of a personal journey through silence and resilience. After my own experience of abuse, I found myself silenced—not only by the shame that often follows but also by legal barriers that prevent me from naming the perpetrator. This movement grew from my determination to create a space where women and girls no longer have to feel alone in their stories.
Let’s Speak Out is here to give voice to those who have been silenced, to offer solidarity, and to empower others in their journeys of healing. I’m a nurse, FE educator, and the author of It’s All Your Fault, a book that confronts the complex realities of abuse and offers insight into the often-overlooked impact it has on survivors. My experiences have fueled my commitment to supporting and empowering others who have faced similar situations. Let’s Speak Out is for women and girls seeking a community of understanding, but it also aims to educate allies, educators, and those wanting to create a safer world for everyone.
