Who We Are

Providing A Voice for Those Who’ve Been Silenced

Let’s Speak Out was born out of a personal journey through silence and resilience. After my own experience of abuse, I found myself silenced—not only by the shame that often follows but also by legal barriers that prevent me from naming the perpetrator. This movement grew from my determination to create a space where women and girls no longer have to feel alone in their stories.

Let’s Speak Out is here to give voice to those who have been silenced, to offer solidarity, and to empower others in their journeys of healing. I’m a nurse, FE educator, and the author of It’s All Your Fault, a book that confronts the complex realities of abuse and offers insight into the often-overlooked impact it has on survivors. My experiences have fueled my commitment to supporting and empowering others who have faced similar situations. Let’s Speak Out is for women and girls seeking a community of understanding, but it also aims to educate allies, educators, and those wanting to create a safer world for everyone.

Our Approach

Our Mission
We believe in the power of conversation to break down the stigma around violence against women and girls.

By sharing stories and speaking openly about these experiences, we aim to foster a society where people feel comfortable calling out harmful behaviours and advocating for change.

Our Vision
Let’s Speak Out is just beginning. In the future, we aim to create an empowered community that supports survivors and spreads awareness.

Our plans include developing an AI-driven app that offers self-care resources, support, and guidance tailored to survivors. We’re also working on expanding our self-help tools, educational resources, and new books, so survivors and allies alike have access to knowledge and support as they need it.

Our Values

1.
Empathy

We create a compassionate, understanding environment where survivors feel heard.

2.
Empowerment

Our goal is to build strength and resilience within our community, supporting women and girls to reclaim their voices.

3.
Honesty

We are committed to sharing the unfiltered truth about abuse and its effects, breaking down the barriers of stigma and shame.

Our numbers that speak

We have numbers that push us to give in our best and make sure that we break our own records. We are happy to be growing and helping more day by day.
